A project that continuously evolves both in content and artistically – and deliberately never stands still.
HISTORY
Founded in 2008 by Michael Kreyssig, OSD has from the very beginning stood for movement, change, and the ambition to rethink experiences continually. The goals were high from the start – and intentionally unique.
At the center were from the very beginning the three core components Sound, Food, and Healing – the heartfields of Michael Kreyssig. The goal was to connect these elements conceptually, financially, and temporally in a meaningful way. A development process that began early and has been continuously carried on to this day.
What began as Old Smithy’s Dizzle was initially an extraordinary event location. In the years 2008 to 2020 the focus was on the space as a place for events, encounters, and cultural formats.
However, early on, a further vision emerged: to make sound not only audible but to connect it with enjoyment and atmosphere. This claim was more than an idea – it required time, financial substance, and consistent professional action. Step by step, with a clear direction and long-term goal, this became a viable reality.
The transition from Old Smithy’s Dizzle to Organization for Sound & Delight – OSD marked not merely a change of name but a fundamental change in perspective. A new attitude arose: the will to clarify content, to consistently develop further, and to think of experiences holistically.
Present & Future
The decisive turning point was the conscious departure from the classic event venue towards an organization for Sound & Delight. This realignment became the bridge to transform attitude, content, and spaces into a future-proof overall concept.

With OSD 2.0, initiated from 2022, the next big step was taken. The course for a fundamental transformation was set – towards a clear flow of energy, content, and attitude.
Today, the offerings consistently focus on self-developed OSD formats that place Sound & Delight at the center. These formats are designed as strategic supplements to classic events and aim to deepen content and purposefully enhance experiences.
Based on our core competencies, modular experience components are created, such as Sound Dinners, curated enjoyment formats, and immersive acoustic experience spaces. They can be seamlessly integrated into meetings, conferences, or business events and expand them by adding an emotional, connective dimension.
Thus, a functional appointment becomes an impactful experience – and sound becomes tangible for people who have not previously engaged with its effects.

Additionally, the two specially designed sound projects AUDĪR and HO:OM – also bookable for private individuals. They make the aspirations and creativity of OSD experienceable for lovers of Sound & Delight. AUDĪR stands for experimental electronic performances, HO:OM for analog, acoustic, and holistic formats. Both operate at the highest level and bring international sound artists into our spaces.
